Main Points To Communicate:
1. Involve contractors to build Smart Homes 2. Utilizing technology to help reduce energy consumption 3. Build and showcase houses that are more eco-friendly SolarSmart homes are the easy way to be energy conscious and green – just buy the house, you don’t have to think too hard.
Detractor: Increased initial cost of housing – actually, most SolarSmart homes are going for the same cost as comparable homes- the builders just choose to not upgrade other things – such as not doing granite countertops or stainless steel appliances.

School House Rock Film Examples: The following cartoon short films "How A Bill Becomes A Law" and "Conjunction Junction" are great ways to convey a process with of lots of information at once. How can you update the look and feel of the films below using DV, 2D and 3D combinations or styles? How could you come up with a catchy song that rhymes to explain how solar works?
Fast Solar Energy Film Ideas:
1) Show a solar farmer talking about how he harvests sun power for his home and others. Then show his house all lit up with crazy electrical things like Christmas lights, rotating statues, inner disco lights, an electric fence and spot lights.
2) Play with the sun as a spiritual image where people meditate or worship it in funny ways while talking about solar POWER.
3) Do a Sun monologue where it talks about how hard it works to provide light and free energy while showing wow shots of sunsets and sunrises.
